Croatia may seek help from the International Monetary Fund, thanks to its growing external debt and lack of foreign investments.
In the International Risk and Payment Review for April, Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) rated Croatia as DB3d, which places it among mild-risk countries.
Croatia’s external debt stands at 60 billion dollars and it’s expected to grow in the ***owing two years.
Foreign investments won’t bring enough capital and Croatia’s government will be forced to incur more debt.
D&B said that the latest interventions made by Croatia’s National Bank have brought to stabilize the national currency (kuna).
