Quick timeline. World War II ended in 1945. "Operation Paperclip" began immediately after the conclusion of World War II by the CIA. Numerous German(nancy) scientists, engineers, technicians, and strategists were brought to the United States to work on various projects. 1948 Israel is established 1953 CIA initiates "Operation Ajax" in Iran. A coup that paved the way for the Shah's authoritarian regime which in turn led to the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran. There is more but will stop here for now to let this soak in a bit.
