colloidal gold vs. ionic gold
Perplexity
Ionic gold is a solution containing gold cations and companion anions, while colloidal gold is a suspension of sub-micron gold nanoparticles in a fluid
[1]
[2]
. Colloidal gold nanoparticles are more biocompatible than other nanoparticles, and their physical and chemical properties allow for more efficient drug delivery
[3]
. Ionic minerals are those that have been dissolved in water to form ions, while colloidal minerals are suspended in water as particles
[4]
It is important to note that ionic gold and colloidal gold are not the same thing, as ionic gold only contains gold ions while colloidal gold contains nanoparticles
