Denying 2000 years of the Medieval Warm Period, Little Ice Age on every continent
Here we go again. For five or so years believers didn’t really mention the Medieval Warm Period. Too bruised by the embarrassment of Hockey Stick Zombie failures. But it’s an inconvenient era they have to rub out because none of the expert models can explain what caused it, and it’s hard to panic about same temperatures that Edward the Confessor survived with oxen and carts.
And it’s hard to call the modern warmth “man-made” if nature created something just like it 1,000 years ago.
12 New Papers Provide Robust Evidence The Earth Was Warmer During Medieval Times
Claims that modern temperatures are globally warmer than they were during Medieval times (~800 to 1250 A.D.) have been contradicted by a flurry of new (2019) scientific papers.
Antarctica was warmer one thousand years ago — and life was OK
A new paper looks at 60 sites across Antarctica, considering everything from ice, lake and marine cores to peat and seal skins. They were particularly interested in the Medieval Warm Period, and researched back to 600AD. During medieval times (1000-1200 AD) they estimate Antarctica as a whole was hotter than it is today. Antarctica was even warmer still — during the dark ages circa 700AD.
Yet another study illustrates that the Medieval Warming Period was not regional, but global
This new study shows it also occurred in South America, and adds to the growing body of southern hemisphere locations. as we can see in this map below, note the red markers where it was warmer than normal.
New Study Maps Medieval Warm Period In Africa
The vast majority of land sites in Africa show characteristic warming during the Medieval Climate Anomaly, in line with similar warming in Europe and North America.
More evidence that the Medieval Warming Period was global, not regional
From the “we have to get rid of the Medieval Warming Period” department. Even though this paper was published in late 2017, it was recently highlighted in EoS, as shown below. Michael Mann, and others, in their zeal to cover up warming periods of the past, to make it look like his hockey stick is “unprecedented”, won’t like this paper. They also won’t like this map showing over 1000 studies and their results.
New Study Confirms Medieval Warm Period Was Indeed Global, And As Warm As Today
Here’s another blow to the global warming alarmist scientists, who have been claiming that the Medieval Warm Period was a local, North Atlantic phenomenon, and did not really exist globally. What ***ows is a report on yet another paper contradicting this now worn out claim.
The Little Ice Age And Medieval Warming In South Africa
While researching the last article on monsoons, I came across this paper about the Little Ice Age in South Africa:
http://ruby.fgcu.edu/courses/twimberley/envirophilo/tyson.pdf
The climate industry likes to pretend that the Little Ice Age was just a local event in Europe, but studies like this one give the lie to that.
Interestingly this Tyson study also includes graphs of historical temperature trends in other parts of the world, for comparison. They all clearly show the MWP and Little Ice Age, although the peaks and troughs don’t always match.
Evidence of the Medieval Warm Period in Australia, New Zealand and Oceania
Results are now available for Africa, Antarctica and Australia/Oceania. In the ***owing, we want to present our findings for Australia/Oceania, hoping for reader feedback on additional studies or alternative interpretations. Up to now we have identified 15 study locations in the region.
Evidence Of MWP In Argentina
… so we have yet another well-documented example of the pure and simple fact that the much-studied Medieval Warm Period likely was somewhat warmer than the Current Warm Period has been to date, and during a time when the atmosphere’s CO2 concentration was only about 280 ppm, compared to the approximate 400 ppm of today.
… This adds to many other studies which show evidence of the MWP and LIA in South America.
Y para terminar (por el momento, ya que el post se está haciendo largo), he aquí todo un montón de papers demostrando científicamente que el Período Cálido Medieval sí fue global:
Body Of Proof: Large Number Of Studies Show Medieval Warm Period “Prominent In Southern Hemisphere”
Remember how in the late 1990s/early 2000s the Medieval Warm Period (MWP) was made to disappear, and it was claimed that it was mainly a local, North Atlantic phenomenon.
Unfortunately for those trumpeting this claim, a comprehensive worldwide survey of scientific literature is now showing that the MWP was in fact a global phenomenon, suggesting large-scale natural cycles are what is really driving the climate.
Medieval Warmth Was GLOBAL…Confirmed By Over 1200 Publications At Google Maps
More than 1200 publications show the Medieval Warm Period (MWP) was global – an embarrassment to global warming alarmists who claimed it was regional
Global warming alarmist scientists like claiming that the well documented Medieval Warm Period (MWP) was mostly a regional, North Atlantic phenomenon, and was not global, and so we just move along and stop questioning man-made global warming.
