Horrible: Chelsea fans 'attacked by police' after Barcelona
"I was there tonight, it was horrendous. From the beginning they were aggressive. More stewards and police than I'v seen at any other match, including in Baku which is a human rights disaster area and Fenerbache. Thy searched us aggressively, my ass was aggressively groped three times during the search. Armed stewards looked at us aggressively throughout. There was NO presence on the Barcelona side however, even when they were aggressive, nothing was done.
On the way out, me and everyone around were walking out peacefully. They ran past me up the ramp, pushing me out the way, as if to get in position. A moment later, they just charged, weapons out, hitting indiscriminately. They squeezed us into a confined space, and even after fans fell onto the floor including kids, they kept pushing and hitting. Was either get hit, or trample a kid. I stood, pointed at the kid on the floor in front of me, and held my hand out pleading to a steward saying please stop. He looked at me, the kid, my hand, and then just smacked my wrist. Is bruised and swollen and feels tricky to move my thumb. This was not provoked, and they were not stopping even when people hit the floor. The same guy then turned to my dad who was facing the opposite direction to him, arms out trying to protect those in front, and just smacked him three times in the lower back. This wasn't just one asshole steward, it was an organised, planned attack. They were ready to act this way, they were armed with batons at the ready from the start. Someone else posted a video, and just look around on twitter to see other pics and videos and accounts of what happened.
Please, anyone here who sees this or any other tweet or whatever, post tweet retweet like, email UEFA, Barcelona, anything. I am furious at what happened to me tonight. People, kids, could have been trampled. I saw a guy bleeding from his head. They hit a fan in the back of the leg, and when he dropped to his knee they kept hitting, now at his head and upper back. I am furious, and I beg everything here to try and help get this seen, talked about, and responded to. Iv been going to matches since I was 7, and I have seen nothing like the shit on display tonight"

from u/daneyh :
“Absolute fucking shambles from the security tonight. They arranged to organise for the fans to enter via gate C/access 21, then closed off the main road through to that area forcing us to walk via street level around the entire block of the stadium.
We heard stories of fans being split into groups and one group on the Main Street being forced into a street where Barca fans were waiting to peg bricks and golf balls at the chelsea fans. Organised by the police of course.
After the game was horrific as security staff forced us down into an enclosed pen to walk across this steel bridge over the top of where the Barca fans were walking, but they had rushed either side of the bridge which means Chelsea were wedged against the concrete wall at the bottom of the pen. Then the batons came out to try to get them moving but there was literally nowhere to go with security ‘batch releasing’ people over the bridge...this is where we saw horrific scenes of kids and women being beaten by riot cops essentially I’ve never seen anything like it. Trying to find police to report it to we were just laughed off and told to move on. Definitely going to report this to Chelsea to see if that is another route as the police here are indifferent.”
