¡El mundo enloquecido! La minería de Bitcoin y sus transaccciones consumen en la actualidad tanta energía como un país del tamaño de Dinamarca*.
Cada transacción con Bitcoins necesita 250 kWh con tendencia al alza. Si Visa hiciese negocios con sus 83,5 mil millones de transacciones al año de esta forma, entonces su consumo eléctrico correspondería al consumo energético del mundo entero.
