The map shows sales tax or VAT rates for countries around the world, including many subdivisions such as US states and Canadian provinces. The country with the highest rate of VAT is Hungary at 27% ***owed by Croatia, Denmark, Norway and Sweden at 25% each.
There is no single country with the lowest rate of VAT since there are several with 0% rates including everywhere from Bermuda to Hong Kong to Iraq to the UAE. If you’re curious you can see a full list of rates below.
