Parece ser que ya se admite, por parte de los científicos, que algunos casos de el bichito persistente son debidos a las banderillas. Se afirma también que estos casos serían muy pocos, muchos menos que los de el bichito persistente debidos a la supuesta infección, aunque no he podido discernir en qué se basan para hacer tal afirmación.
