The posh Emirates Palace Hotel is the first to have one of the machines — designed to cater for the many oil rich millionaires who reside in the Gulf state.
German company Ex Oriente Lux AG — who sell the machine — said: "In addition to one-gram, five-gram and 10-gram bars of gold, the machine also dispenses gold coins."
Gold rates are constantly updated inside the gold-plated machine to ensure buyers get the best value for their money.
An Ex Oriente Lux AG spokesman said: "This eliminates the risk premiums usually associated with precious metal trading."
The Emirates Palace manager, Hans Olbertz, said they wanted the hotel to be the first in the world to offer guests what he called "this golden service".
The Emirates Palace is often used by visiting foreign dignitaries.
Its top floor is reserved for the rulers of the United Arab Emirate's seven different states — each of whom has their own suite.
